The Museum of Ice Cream (Website), known for its immersive, candy-colored installations and popular dessert-themed pop-ups, is coming to Orlando.
Construction is already underway on a new two-story location at Pointe Orlando, the entertainment and dining complex on International Drive. The windows of the venue currently sport branded vinyl clings, masking the work being carried out inside, on both floors of the complex.
Founded in New York in 2016, the Museum of Ice Cream has grown into an international attraction with locations in Austin, Chicago, and Singapore. Each location features themed rooms, interactive exhibits, and lots of samples of ice cream. The company describes its concept as “a multi-sensory universe where imagination runs free and anything is possible.”
There is no announced opening date, and Museum of Ice Cream representatives have not responded to requests for comment; however, the pace and scale of the construction hint at an ambitious timeline.
