Grammy-winning metal band Mastodon (Website) is kicking off its “Poisonous Weapons Tour” at Hard Rock Live in Orlando on Wednesday, September 16, at 7 p.m., with support from Deafheaven and Alcest.
The 27-date North American run stretches through late October, closing with an October 22 hometown show in Atlanta before a final festival appearance at Sick New World in Dallas on October 24. The tour announcement came alongside the release of Mastodon’s new single, “Your Ghost Again,” which is apparently a tribute to former guitarist Brent Hinds, who died in a motorcycle crash last year after parting ways with the band.
