Martín Ojeda became Orlando City SC’s all-time leading goalscorer Wednesday night, converting a penalty in a 3-3 draw with Toronto FC at BMO Field. The goal was the 48th of Ojeda’s Orlando City career across all competitions, breaking the club record. It was also his team-high 15th goal of 2026.

Ojeda, wearing the captain’s armband in place of the injured Robin Jansson (we miss you, Robin), scored from the spot in first-half stoppage time after a Toronto handball in the box. His finish to the lower-left corner tied the match 1-1.

Lewis Morgan had given Toronto the lead in the 27th minute, heading home a cross from Theo Corbeanu. Corbeanu put Toronto back in front in the 49th minute, tapping in a rebound after Orlando goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau made the initial save.

Antoine Griezmann answered in the 77th minute, volleying home from close range after Iago headed an Ojeda set piece across goal. It was Griezmann’s 10th MLS goal in 13 league appearances since joining the Lions this summer, and his ninth straight MLS match with a goal contribution.

Six minutes later, Griezmann set up the go-ahead goal. He played Iván Angulo on the right, and Angulo found Daryl Dike for a first-time finish in the 83rd minute.

Toronto equalized in the 90th minute when Matheus Pereira scored on another rebound after Crépeau parried a long-range shot from Djordje Mihailovic.

“It’s a point on the road,” interim head coach Martín Perelman said after the match. “It’s not what we wanted because we came here to win.” Dike shared the frustration. “It’s frustrating to lose two points in the manner that we did,” he said.

Orlando City (11-13-5, 38 points) remains seventh in the Eastern Conference with five regular-season matches left.

Orlando was without Jansson, Griffin Dorsey, Justin Ellis and Tyrese Spicer due to injury or illness. Marco Pašalić served a suspension for yellow card accumulation. Worth it.

The Lions return home to host D.C. United on Saturday, October 17, at 7:30 p.m. at Inter.co Stadium in downtown Orlando. The match streams on Apple TV.
