Thai Cuisine Restaurant (Instagram), a longtime Thai spot on Edgewater Drive in Orlando, has closed after 20 years in business. The restaurant shut down on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, and the owner confirmed the closure in a Facebook post, thanking customers “for being a part of our story.”
Over the years, Thai Cuisine built a steady following in the College Park area for classic Thai comfort dishes and a consistent, neighborhood-restaurant feel. Local critic Scott Joseph wrote about the restaurant in 2011, noting how it had expanded, from its earlier days connected to an Asian market, and reviewed a lunch combo that included wonton soup and panang curry with beef.
The restaurant also picked up recognition along the way, including a “Best Thai” honor from the Orlando Sentinel in 2015.
No reason for the closure was included in the owner’s Facebook message.
