A local horror film club is hosting a free screening of the 2006 horror film Black Christmas. Horror-lando Film Club (Instagram), a group comprised of local horror fans, will host the event on Tuesday, December 16, at Whippoorwill Beer House in the Milk District. The screening begins at 8 p.m. and is open to the public.
Horror-lando launched in July 2025 with a screening of The Lost Boys and has since grown into a monthly gathering. Past screenings have included Evil Dead II and Thanksgiving. In addition to the films, Horror-lando hosts a free monthly raffle and incorporates themed activities such as costume contests and specialty snacks tied to the movie being shown.
Seating is first-come, first-served, and attendees are encouraged to support Whippoorwill Beer House by purchasing drinks and other items during the event.
