Lake Nona is finally adding more retail

Lake Nona West is getting closer to its May 2026 opening, and Tavistock Development Company just announced the latest additions to the 405,000 SF center.

Four new retailers have signed on, adding 8,078 SF to the lineup: Drybar, Just Salad, Gloss Nail Co. (a woman-owned nail studio specializing in natural nail care), and Kilwins Ice Cream. They join a previously announced tenant mix that includes Target as anchor, Nordstrom Rack, Barnes & Noble, Total Wine & More, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, Homesense, Sephora, JETSET Pilates, and Cañonita, an elevated Mexican restaurant from Tavistock’s own restaurant group (that tested at Boxi Park first).

The center will also get its own public art program, with Miami-based studio Chalk & Brush, founded by Cuban-born artist Cinthia “Cynno” Santos, installing 30 murals across the various buildings and walkways. The murals will draw from native Florida flora, wildlife, and the surrounding community. Santos’s studio has previously created work for Spotify and Starbucks.

Other features include shaded promenades, flexible gathering spaces, and a 20-stall Level 3 EV charging hub powered by Mercedes-Benz High-Power Charging.

Lake Nona West is located on Lake Nona Boulevard east of Boggy Creek Road. Lake Nona residents have been hounding Tavistock, the developer, to add more retail for years, and it looks like they’re finally getting their wish granted. Though, given the demographic, it’s surprising one of the tenants wasn’t a Trader Joe’s.
