
Local nonprofit literacy organization, Page 15 (Website), is looking to hire a new “passionate and dynamic Lead Creative Writing Coach” to work with young writers in the communities they serve, including Parramore and Holden Heights.
Page 15 is dedicated to empowering young people through creative writing and storytelling and offers free, community-based writing programs that build confidence, critical thinking, and communication skills. Their work includes after-school writing labs, summer camps, and publishing opportunities where students see their own stories in print.
The person in this part-time role will collaborate with program leadership to lead creative writing programs, research and design creative writing curriculum, and build community with students and program partners.
This position is ideal for emerging educators and teaching artists with a background in creative writing, literature, youth development, and community building.
It pays $18 to $22 per hour, and there are two positions currently available. Applicants must be able to successfully complete a Level 2 background check.
