After a years-long tease, H Mart (Website) has finally given Orlandoans an exact date: the popular Korean supermarket chain will open its first Florida location on September 25.
The store will occupy the former SuperTarget space at 7501 W. Colonial Drive [GMap] past OrloVista, part of the Westland Terrace Plaza. At over 180,000 square feet, it’s set to become the largest H Mart in the nation.
Expect a food hall featuring an array of Asian and fusion offerings, including Paik’s Noodle, U Chun, Myung Ga, Oh K‑Dog and Egg Toast, Jaws Tapokki, Eggcellent Sandwich and Coffee, Paris Baguette, Kung Fu Tea, and more.
Construction has been a slow burn. After passing several inspections in early 2025, crews have been working daily to wrap up the build.
H Mart made its U.S. debut in Queens, New York in 1982 and has since grown to nearly 100 locations across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. Orlando will be its entry into Florida.
