BANDBOX, the non-alcoholic speakeasy that opened in Orlando’s Ivanhoe Village in 2022 and closed in 2024, is returning with a new and expanded concept. The new location, BANDBOX Café & Taproom (Website), is set to open in Spring 2026 in New Smyrna Beach, just a few blocks from the ocean.
The nearly 3,000 SF space will combine a café and a self-pour taproom. The beverage lineup will include coffee, beer, wine, non-alcoholic draft cocktails, kombucha, nitro cold brew, and CBD and THC seltzers. Food will be provided through a partnership with DaKine Hawaiian Kitchen, offering shareable plates, Hawaiian plate lunches, poke bowls, and desserts, along with charcuterie and light bites from Simply Cheese in Winter Park.
The New Smyrna Beach location will feature live music, a game room, and a rotating schedule of events, including trivia, open mic nights, film screenings, and non-alcoholic cocktail classes. The design is described as “mid-century and beach-inspired, with an emphasis on indoor-outdoor seating.”
In addition to the New Smyrna Beach opening, BANDBOX plans to open a location in Tampa’s Seminole Heights in Fall 2026, followed by a return to Orlando in the Mills 50 district in Fall 2027.
