Florida’s Citrus Festival (Website) is returning to Central Park in downtown Winter Haven on Saturday, January 31, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The free, family-friendly festival features a vendor market, food trucks with citrus-themed goodies, and live music throughout the day. The Polk County Farm Bureau will be hosting a citrus history exhibit to help provide some context on the industry’s impact in the area, too. If you like reading about citrus while shoving it in your citrus hole.
Family-friendly features include a KidZone and a touch-a-tractor area (with consent) presented by Florida Coast Equipment. For adults, the festival will offer a citrus beer and wine tent. Local artists will be featured in a Blue Ribbon Art Showcase, and a free photo booth is available courtesy of Watson Clinic.
