"THE ADVENTURES OF PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT" WILL SCREEN AT ENZIAN ON JUNE 23 AT 9 P.M.
Enzian Theater (Website) is hosting a special June-themed film series this month called Reel Pride. It’s a festival celebrating queer representation through groundbreaking films that showcase the diversity and creativity of the queer alphabet soup community.
The series features a mix of classics and new titles, “designed to generate conversations and foster community through storytelling,” according to the website anyway. Films include The Celluloid Closet, Derek Jarman’s Blue, The Watermelon Machine, The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert, and F-cktoys. The 25th Anniversary Movie Tour of Hedwig and the Angry Inch with director John Cameron Mitchell is sold out.
