Easy Luck Coffee and Bodega (Website) is moving in with the cookie-makers at Phat Ash Bakes (Website) at The MilkStacks, at 221 S. Bumby Avenue [GMap], starting August 10.
Easy Luck announced in May that it would be leaving its longtime home at 2425 E. South Street [GMap] in August, warning customers there could be a service interruption while it searched for a new space. Phat Ash stepped in and offered Easy Luck room inside its Milk District flagship, keeping the coffee shop in the neighborhood it has called home since 2018 (coincidentally, Phat Ash had been looking for a coffee partner to move in anyway).
Easy Luck will serve specialty coffee and breakfast from inside the Bumby Avenue location. Phat Ash’s cookie operation runs Thursday through Sunday from 2 p.m. to midnight, making the morning coffee program a natural fit.
Easy Luck opened in 2018 alongside Whippoorwill Beer House, which later became BookBurn Cafe.
