The Orange County Library System (Website) has licensed social workers available at branches across the county at no cost to library cardholders.
Social workers can provide one-on-one help with career training, mental health referrals, food and SNAP benefits, government services, healthcare enrollment, immigration, housing information, and reemployment guidance.
Appointments are available Monday through Thursday at rotating branches and can be booked up to seven days in advance. Walk-in hours are available on alternating Fridays and Saturdays at the Alafaya Branch, Orlando Public Library and South Trail Branch. Phone or email consultations can also be requested online.
The service is free to anyone with a library card. More information is available at ocls.org/library-social-workers.
