City of Winter Park wants you to do a survey

The City of Winter Park is asking residents to complete a new online survey as part of its upcoming strategic planning work, with a focus on how the city should set priorities if state-level tax changes affect local funding in the future.

The citywide survey is available online HERE and takes about 10 to 12 minutes to complete on a phone, tablet, or computer. Responses are anonymous and must be submitted by the end of the day Sunday, February 22.

According to the city’s description, the questionnaire is meant to measure resident satisfaction and gather input on what services and issues should come first as Winter Park plans for the years ahead. The survey includes questions asking residents to compare Winter Park to nearby municipalities and to weigh in on whether they believe Winter Park has improved or declined as a place to live in recent years.

The city is also asking residents to rank future priorities like workforce housing options, traffic and mobility, maintaining the character and scale of downtown, and improving the health of Winter Park’s lakes. Another section asks about public support for potential tax changes, including whether residents would support a tax increase if property taxes were reduced or eliminated at the state level.
