Christo’s Café (Facebook), a beloved diner in Orlando’s College Park neighborhood at 1815 Edgewater Drive [GMap], has quietly expanded its hours and is now offering dinner service in addition to its longstanding breakfast and lunch offerings.
For decades, Christo’s has been a staple in the area, known for generous portions, classic diner fare, and a down-to-earth atmosphere, and a serving staff that reminds you of your cool aunt. The café consistently earns positive reviews (around 4.4 out of 5) for its homey feel and reliable menu.
Until now, Christo’s has limited its operations to morning and early afternoon hours. For the short term, the new dinner hours have expanded the lunch menu’s grilled melts, sandwiches, salads, burgers into the evening, with daily dinner-style specials posted at 3 p.m. A new dinner-only menu will be added in the near future, according to Christo’s staff. Beer and wine is apparently also in the works, so we could see mimosas by the end of the year. Fingers crossed.
They continue to be closed on Sundays.
