The Art and History Museums of Maitland (Website) will host Art Party, a Surrealism-themed gala, on Saturday, March 7, at the Maitland Art Center. This year’s event is billed as an “immersive, multi-sensory evening” combining art, performance, food, and auctions, with proceeds supporting the museum’s exhibitions and community programs.
“The Art Party is more than a gala. It’s an experience that reflects A&H’s commitment to creativity, culture, and community,” said Danielle Thomas, executive director of the Art and History Museums of Maitland. She said the goal is to create a standout cultural event while raising funds for the organization’s work in Central Florida.
Tickets are $200 per person, with tables of 10 available for $1,900. A&H said admission includes reserved seating, light-bite food stations curated by local caterers, an open bar, a swag bag, and evening entertainment.
