BILL PULLMAN AND SANDRA BULLOCK MAKING SEXY EYES AT EACH OTHER
Harry P. Leu Gardens (Website) will host its next outdoor Movie Night on Friday, September 4, and will feature the romantic comedy “While You Were Sleeping” from 8 to 9:40 p.m.

The 1995 romantic comedy stars Sandra Bullock and Bill “hubba hubba” Pullman. Bullock plays Lucy, a lonely Chicago transit toll booth worker who’s secretly infatuated with a handsome commuter, Peter, whom she’s never actually spoken to, but who she suspects smells really, really good. When she saves his life after he’s mugged and falls into a coma, a mix-up at the hospital leads his family to believe Lucy is his fiancée. Rather than correct the misunderstanding right away, Lucy goes along with it (because she’s super lonely), and ends up falling for Peter’s brother, Jack, played by Pullman, while Peter remains unconscious in the hospital. Drama and hilarity ensue.
The gardens open at 6 p.m., with organizers recommending guests arrive at least 30 minutes before the 8 p.m. movie start due to the location of the screening area within the gardens. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic, along with chairs or a blanket, to enjoy the film outdoors. Pets and tents are not permitted, and Leu Gardens is a smoke-free property.
Movie Night is included with general garden admission, priced at $15 for adults and $10 for children. Leu Gardens members receive free admission. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking is free, with overflow parking available along main roads or on the gardens’ grass area off Nebraska Street if the main lot fills, but biking is your best bet.
