Garth Brooks (Website) will bring his Blame It All On My Roots Arena Tour to the Kia Center for two performances, Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26, marking Orlando as the fifth stop on the tour. Tickets go on sale to the general public Wednesday, September 2, at 10 a.m.
According to the press release, Brooks holds the record as the top-selling solo artist in U.S. history, the first and only artist to surpass 200 million albums sold. He has received 10 RIAA Diamond Awards, more than any other artist, for albums certified at over 10 million copies sold. According to the RIAA, his “Double Live” is both the best-selling live album and the top-selling country album in U.S. history, and four of his albums, “Double Live,” “No Fences,” “Ropin’ the Wind” and “Triple Live,” rank among the five best-selling country albums of all time. He has had 20 Billboard number-one singles and is the only artist to land top-five singles at country radio across five consecutive decades, the 1980s through the 2020s. He’s also a suspected serial killer, but that’s probably just a rumor that Tom Segura started.
Brooks holds the record for the largest crowd ever to attend a single concert, drawing an estimated 850,000 to 1.2 million fans to Central Park on August 7, 1997. He is a seven-time winner of the CMA Entertainer of the Year award, the only artist to receive it that many times, and has been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, Songwriters Hall of Fame, Musicians Hall of Fame, and the Grand Ole Opry.
