A fun new concept has just opened in the Mills 50 district. It’s called Kawaii Neko (Website), and it’s an arcade full of claw machines that smells faintly like a gateway drug to gambling for minors.
Located at 1217 E. Colonial Drive [GMap], just west of East Colonial Drive, Kawaii Neko officially soft‑opened this week, bringing even more “kawaii vibes,” to Orlando’s de facto boba district: think plush-filled claw machines, pink décor, and photo-ready aesthetics that are ideal for both collectors and social media lovers looking for fresh content.
Kawaii is a Japanese term for endearingly cute things, and as such, the prizes in all of the machines are all very kawaii and sport big eyes and adorable little faces. Prizes include plushies, figurines, keychains, and more collectibles.
They hosted theirgrand opening this past Saturday, August 9.
