The Ritz Theater (Website) in downtown Sanford will screen “The Karate Kid” on Wednesday, July 29 as part of the venue’s Sizzlin’ Summer Cinema series at 7 p.m.
The series brings free family movies to the historic theater throughout the summer, featuring select nostalgic favorites.
“The Karate Kid” follows a New Jersey teen who moves to California with his absentee single mother and immediately picks a fight with the single most dangerous friend group at his new school, a gang of blonde sociopaths who apparently spend every waking hour training to kill people.
