Universal Orlando has announced its latest Halloween Horror Nights house for 2026: Evil Dead Burn, based on the sixth installment of the long-running horror franchise. The house draws from this year’s film release (you can watch the trailer below, but it’s really gross/scary), following a grieving widow named Alice who travels to her in-laws’ home for comfort, only to be confronted by demonic spirits unleashed by the Necronomicon (the same evil book found by Ash “Sexy Chin” Williams).
Guests will move through recreations of the film’s most intense scenes, starting at the Price family’s secluded vacation home and ending in a final confrontation with the Deadites. Limited-edition merchandise tied to the house, including a T-shirt, hat and acrylic figurine, went on sale in-park Tuesday, with online sales at shopUniversal.com beginning Wednesday at 9 a.m. Pacific time. Additional merchandise is expected later this year.
Evil Dead Burn joins a lineup that also includes Sinners, Hellraiser, Stranger Things, H.R. Bloodengutz and Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos and Control, along with original-concept houses Madlands: Cage Cannibals, Cybergoria and Invasion: Alien Abduction. The event will also feature five scare zones, a new lagoon show based on Netflix’s “Stranger Things” (hopefully not the animated series), and a new “Nightmare Fuel” stage show. Universal says additional haunted houses and event content will be revealed soon.
This year marks the 35th anniversary of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando. The Orlando event runs select nights from Friday, Aug. 28 through Sunday, Nov. 1. Universal Studios Hollywood’s version of the event runs Thursday, Sept. 3 through Nov. 1.
