Job Alert: City of Orlando hiring digital content coordinator for Kia Center and Camping World Stadium

The City of Orlando is hiring a Digital Content Coordinator to manage the digital presence of the Kia Center and Camping World Stadium. The full-time contract position pays $23.15 to $29.98 per hour and comes with the same benefits as regular full-time employees. Most contracts are renewable for one-year terms.

The coordinator will serve as the primary voice of both venues across all social media channels, create original content including graphics and short-form video, manage monthly content calendars, capture photos and videos during events, and maintain both KiaCenter.com and CampingWorldStadium.com.

Core responsibilities include planning and publishing content across Instagram, Facebook, X, and other platforms; collaborating with artists, promoters, sports teams, and partners on co-branded campaigns; placing targeted paid ad campaigns; tracking analytics and performance metrics; and ensuring all content aligns with each venue’s brand identity. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, digital media, or a related field, plus one year of professional experience in social media management and digital content creation. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered.

Preferred qualifications include previous work experience in entertainment, familiarity with SEO and Google Analytics, proficiency with social media scheduling tools like Sprout Social or Hootsuite, and experience with website CMS platforms such as WordPress or OpenCities.
