One of Central Florida’s longest-running agricultural traditions returns this Saturday. The Volusia County Cattlemen’s Association (Website) presents the 76th Annual Cracker Day Rodeo at the Volusia County Cattlemen’s Arena, 3100 E. New York Avenue [GMap] in DeLand, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The family-friendly event features bull riding, barrel racing, team roping, buddy pick-up (which sounds pretty sexy), greased pig (no comment), boot scramble for the kids, sack sled race, and more. Admission includes a homemade BBQ lunch.
Kids 5 and under get in free. Kids 6-12 are $10, and adults and youth 13 and up are $25. Cash and credit cards are accepted at the gate.
