A new restaurant is being developed in the former Chez Vincent space in Winter Park, led by Chef Brandon McGlamery and Foundry Hospitality from South Carolina.

We told you HERE in late November that Chez Vincent and the adjoining Hannibal’s Lounge would be closing on December 21, following the retirement of owners Chef Vincent Gagliano and his wife Teri after 28 years in business. At the time, the pair shared that both spaces had been sold to a local chef and restaurateur who plans to introduce a new concept in the coming months, but were keeping tight-lipped on the specifics.

According to Amy Drew Thompson for Orlando Sentinel, the new concept will be called The Reverie, and it will be an “approachable American brasserie.” Faiyaz Kara spoke with McGlamery for Orlando Weekly and was told that Reverie will take over both Chez Vincent and the adjacent Hannibal’s Lounge storefronts, and feature a new “vibrant dining room and bar,” designed by Michael Wenrich Architects (Website), which has designed projects like RoyalTea in Mills 50, A La Cart in the Milk District, and the State Auto redo in Winter Park.

The Gaglianos will stay on as the owners of the property.
