The News Collaborative of Central Florida (Website), a collective of independent local news outlets and partners including WUCF, VoxPopuli, Central Florida Public Media, Lakeland Now, The Community Paper, Winter Park Voice, Orlando Sentinel, WKMG, and the Osceola News-Gazette, is looking to hire a Project Manager.
The role is responsible for leading the creation of a governance structure for the fledgling collaborative, and for managing all of the group’s meetings, liaising with partner organizations, and pulling in key stakeholders.
The remote, contract position would require approximately 20 hours per week and comes with a $30,000 salary. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, project management experience, and be deadline and detail-oriented.
