The German American Society of Central Florida (Website) will hold its annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 3, from noon to 9 p.m., marking Central Florida’s longest-running Oktoberfest celebration, a local tradition dating back to 1963.
The celebration includes a traditional flag parade, live music from the Steve and Monika EuroMusik Experience outdoors and The Stammtischler Duo indoors, along with dancing, inflatable axe throwing, face painting, a bounce house, and family games. German beer brands on tap include Warsteiner, Paulaner, König Ludwig, Schöfferhofer, Hofbräu, and Kibitz varieties.
General admission is $7 in advance or $10 at the gate, and children 11 and under get in free. VIP tickets cost $100 and include early admission, reserved seating, a pitcher of beer or wine, a meal, a giant pretzel with cheese, dessert, a lanyard, and a gift.
