Legendary punk band Black Flag (Website) will play West End Trading Company (Website) in Sanford on Thursday, October 8, from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m., with support from Orlando’s own TV Generation (Instagram).
Originally formed in 1976 in Hermosa Beach, California, by guitarist Greg Ginn, Black Flag is widely credited as one of the founding acts of American hardcore punk. Ginn remains the band’s sole continuous member across nearly five decades and multiple lineup changes, including the era fronted by chatty Cathy, Henry Rollins.
The current lineup, revealed earlier this year, marks the debut of new members Max Zanelly on vocals, David Rodriguez on bass, and Bryce Weston on drums, alongside Ginn. The band has said it has already begun writing and rehearsing new material as it builds on its signature sound with fresh influences from its latest lineup.
The show is open to ages 15 and up, with anyone under 21 required to attend with an adult. So punk. Tickets are $27.44 and available HERE for purchase.
